PICOPILOT was developed for electric motor-gliders (planes with no ailerons) but it can be adapted to control trainer type planes with ailerons. All PICOPILOT systems (except RTL) include the Waypoint Editor, an easy to use computer program for managing and programming the autopilot waypoijnts. It can mport waypoint files from other programs like Google Earth or MapSource. More advanced features are available with the PICO-GS (groundstation) upgrade. You can also add a radio modem to run a moving-map ( on a laptop ) or if your plane already has a TV system onboard you could add an OSD-GPS to 'print' GPS data over the TV image. PICOPILOT is not a development system, it includes all the parts and software necessary to operate right out of the box. And PICOPILOT is a proven design with over 200 sold since 2002.

After receiving PP initially, I had it installed into a 2m electric glider with absolutely no problems at all. The instructions to install, as well as the dialing in process with gains, was very easy, fast, and understandable.
