Many PICOPILOT customers have asked for it........ The PICO-GS is offered as an add-on software package to enhance the capabilities of any PICOPILOT system ( except -RTL ). The software uses high quality JPG images from Google Earth or any other mapping source. An unlimited number of map images can be easily created using any JPG image with known GPS co-ordinates.
Unlike removable media and internet waypoint programming schemes, the PICO-GS is designed to run on a laptop in the field. Experienced UAV operators require the ability to program waypoints in the field, without an internet connection. PICO-GS can be used to program waypoints and display a realtime track plot over a map, in the field.
PICO-GS performs four basic functions: 1. Provides a graphical view of your waypoints on the map image. 2. Permits "point-n'click" waypoint programming on the map image. 3. Provides realtime GPS tracking and flight data on the map image ( requires a radio modem ) 4. Includes the standard PICOPILOT line item editor ( 32 waypoints ).
PICO-GS is sold as a CD and one time password. The PICO-GS program and sample files are copied directly to your PICOPILOT directory.
